FWIW Miracle Gro Seed Starting mix did great this year
Over the years I have used various seed starting mixes with good results. This year on a whim I just swung into Lowe's and bought a bag of Miracle grow Seed Starting Mix for $5. I filled some solo cups about 1/3 full, and kept the soil temp between 70 and 80 degrees until germination. Seeds came up quickly, and then the flourescent and LED lights were added to the equation. Nothing really different this year except the Miracle Gro mix. I noticed that the stems were thicker than I've ever been able to grow, and the leaves were darker green than usual.

I'll have to try a bag of that next year. I've been using coir, but this year, Amazon had a deal on Tomato Tone Seed Starting Mix, so I gave it a whirl. Certainly worked as good as Burpee's from what I could see. How was the MG for stems and other chaff in the mix?

Not too bad on the stems. A few stems is a small price to pay for the best sturdy seedlings Ive ever grown.
