I should have posted earlier that the package arrived, but today I finally had a chance to go through all of the varieties and look them up/plan for spring. Although I can't plant all of the seeds in my garden this year, I am so excited to put in every bit the great gardener juju that was bursting forth from that envelope. I am dreaming of flowers, tomatoes, beans, eggplants, peppers and more. It's nice to have the growing season to look forward to right now.

Thank you so much Gary for the generosity of your time, your seeds, and your good nature!

Your package was just returned, today.

The Post Office apparently has new (Sept. 2019?) guidelines:

Any mailpiece over one-half inch thick that uses postage stamps...
Any mailpiece that weighs more than 10 ounces and uses postage stamps...
(also there are a few customs declaration guidelines)

...are supposed to be returned due to heightened security concerns.

They need to be presented to a retail service associate, which I'll do today.

I've mailed 100+ packages thicker than 1/2" and/or over 10 ounces in the past year, or so, without the associate.

One comes back.

It may have been customs doing their job.

My very dear Captain Gary,

You've outdone yourself. My package arrived yesterday.

Mind. Blown.

Yes, you've ruined my 2021 gardening plans; you've also ruined my 10-year gardening plans. You've also rearranged my whole concept of gardening.

I'm sorting, categorizing, alphabetizing, researching, choosing, reveling, giggling, and dancing jigs of joy.

You're better than antidepressants and even chocolate. :D :D :D

Nan

With chocolate, flowers, family, friends. and God (in the order that's right for them), no one would have need for antidepressants.

Take one garden season at a time. Looking out 10 years  , some of that seed be best frozen.

Departing today...

NE Ge L

I'm hovering around 2 or 3, 2 or 3, 2 or 3, packages left to send. A new request comes in with each package going out. There's no time for cabin fever, as the winter melts away quickly.

I'll find your wish list and mail a couple of small thin "greeting cards".

Gary,

I have just spent the day cataloguing and categorising everything into a spreadsheet, I have 100 seeds planted and am lining up more to go in over the next few weeks.

I can't type anymore, my thumbs hurt :-)

I cannot change history, so I do hope i gave you a good impression of myself

You do realize you're typing "I can't type anymore".
Any chance that you're a member of the House of Commons? Correction, I just realized you said thumbs, not thumb. ;)
