Re: 2021 Go Big or Go Home List
My winner of the season was Frog Princess. Dwarf Laura's Bounty and Dark Stripe Micro made the most tomatoes. boronia dwarf gave a lot. They all had good flavor. Sweet 100 was very prolific. EM Champion did well. White Oxheart threw out several, but they were bland and mealy. Frog princess gave several and they had great flavor.
But then.on Saturday, I found a real winner. Homer German Green Stripe. I am going to try to dig this plant and a few others and.move them.into the sun. Wow. It made one tomato and in my excitement, I didnt photograph. It was a a white tomato with pale lime striping. Heart. But then I cut it open. It glows! It was a glowing orange red pink color. No hint of this on the outside. Flavor was great.

@Julianna Homer German Green Stripes sounds intriguing. What was your seeds source and are you going to save seeds?

@Julianna; if you's want prolific and have beau coup space , Supersweet 100's yer choice.
Regrettably, our days with it are over; it gets too big (~11-12 feet/~3.5 meters), and spreads out over-n-chokes off other plants.
We figure we'll have three (3) other plants rather than the one.

Mine revived and it is huge. Still producing, but they are all splitting like crazy. It is a great one! Yours looks fantastic!Cornelius_Gotchberg wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 5:51 pm @Julianna; if you's want prolific and have beau coup space , Supersweet 100's yer choice.

Re: 2021 Go Big or Go Home List
I got it from Mariseeds. She still takes orders via email. I just got the one and didn't save anything. But I will try to move the plant into the sun and if it survives, it has plenty of blooms that could become tomatoes. I will photograph and save seeds then. I haven't seen any information about this tomato anywhere except from either the email seed list or her seed savers entry. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. Next year, I will grow it again but in the sun. Unfortunately, 80% of my yard goes full shade for 6 months and since we are so cool all the time, things need a bit more time to get going. So part of my plantings go into the shady part, and they produce if everything works well, but this was just a weird year.
