If you have grown up in an area where you know the temperature variances, the soil ph, and if you have rkn or whatever crap you learn on the internet.

Just grow some tomatoes and whatever you want. We only live once. Try it. If I can try to help you, I will.

I rarely pay attention to growing zone information on plants. If it looks good I give it a go...what the heck I'm only out the price of seeds or plants and it may get me something. I do pay attention to the soil composition in the garden to give whatever folly I put there as good a chance as I can give for success. Like you say, "Go for it".

@AKgardener; you's have a real treat to look forward to!

Sweet Success will be planted this coming weekend, along with a couple 1st time efforts with WESconsin developed varieties, the Wisconsin SMR 55, and the little known/under-the-radar Wautoma Heirloom https://territorialseed.com/products/cucumber-wautoma

Funniest thing; all of a sudden and at once I have a REAL hankering for a FRESH open-faced Sliced Cuke, Spinach (Space Hybrid!), Sprout, Onion, Tomato, Pepper Jack Cheese samitch...
