Daniel Burson is a 'Must Grow' here. I have grown it every year since 2014. It's hard to beat for health, production and flavor. I'm glad to know that it does so well for you down there too. I tend to swamp Tormato with seeds from it every year. LOL

@MissS; sure is heartening to read that steadfast endorsement, because I have two (2) started-from-seed DBs in the ground.

That settles it. Daniel Burson will be replacing the Rebel Yell that now resides in isolation in the hospital bed, trying to recover from the funk. Reading y'alls talk about Daniel Burson, the name rang a bell and sure enough, I got some DB seeds in the MMMM swap. I will get one started today.

DB sounds awesome. I have fond memories of but a few seasons when just about everything seemed to do well. Rarely happens! But another good reason to keep it as diverse as possible with lots of shots at perfect for the year that it is.

Didn’t make it out to harvest yesterday so am left with this problem today.

Green Bee, Honey Drop and Maglia Rosa. All easy to grow and very different from each other.

How does the flavour of Green Bee compare with that of Maglia Rosa?
Is the Green Bee at all similar to Brad's Atomic Grape in taste?

@Growing Coastal It’s very hard to describe Green Bee as the crunchy texture is part of the experience. In the initial burst I get tropical fruit then salt then sweet. You have to wait for Green Bee to ripen fully and that takes a while given its very long shelf life. Brad’s Atomic Grape doesn’t have tropical fruit to my taste buds.
Maglia Rosa is more of a smooth sweet to me. Not as much as say Sungold but decently sweet.

Oh good! I'm growing the Honey Drop for the first time (thanks to MMMM) and it has several trusses of greenies on it.

Glad I decided to grow Lime Green Salad again!

If you’re not familiar with LGS it’s a short Multiflora with green when ripe fruit.
The flavor manages to be both fresh and zesty to my taste buds so yes, great in a mixed salad.
It also makes a killer green salsa.
The individual tomatoes will never win any size awards and they tend to be all kinds of different shapes but it’s a healthy plant with decent output.
Something different!

LGS is a fantastic starter green when ripe tomato.

Agree, @worth1. I came back to it this year after some of my GWR last year weren’t that great.
