@wxcrawler It almost looks like it should glow in the dark.
The behaviour of light means you observe me as i was then, and not as I am now.
I cannot change history, so I do hope i gave you a good impression of myself

@wxcrawler; "It is disturbingly ugly."
If it's "disturbingly ugly" you's want, it's "disturbingly ugly" you'll get; courtesy of the Giant Garden Paste:

Anyone selling at a farmers' market should be wise to steer clear of Korichnevyy Rebristyy.WoodSprite wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 2:57 pm Korichnevyy Rebristyy (Brown Ribbed) is pumping out catfaced tomatoes.

I think that @WoodSprite has everyone beat just by the shear numbers of ugliness. WoodSprite which one is your ugliest?

Most of my catfaced stuff happens early, that is impressive to have that into September!

@Cornelius_Gotchberg - They are creepy-looking. Your surrender is accepted. LOL!
@Tormato - I'm growing this variety for the Ukrainian swap. The few photos I could find online showed them as gorgeous tomatoes. I'm disappointed that they are all catfaced. It's been years since I've grown any catfaced tomatoes. I'm not a fan so I completely agree with your assessment. They also don't taste nearly as good as I was hoping.
@MissS - I already harvested the seeds from them and didn't compare them. Badly catfaced tomatoes gross me out.
@JRinPA - I was hoping they'd improve later in the season but so far even the later/smaller ones are catfaced, too, the last time I checked. I'll have to check them again. I'd really like to see how they are supposed to look.
This is the plant on August 31 before I harvested the ripe ones.

Re: Ugliest Tomato Photo Contest
I had a mislabeled plant do this for me one year. They were truly ugly tomatoes that had us laughing every time we harvested them. I think that we threw most of them away after unsuccessfully trying to find homes for them.

Re: Ugliest Tomato Photo Contest
WOW Woodsprite that plant is not fooling around!!
I did get some late as well as early catfaces, so I think maybe heat can do it as much as cold. Or maybe this plant was just making faces at me for setting fruit I needed a stepladder to pick.
Lots of pretty fruit in the middle though.

Re: Ugliest Tomato Photo Contest
I was going through some old pic's and came across this photo of my ugly tomatoes which made me laugh. This was an off-type so I have no idea of what variety it was.
