For the time it would take to crack all those open, it might be worth it to buy them by the bag in the store, lol. ;)

About every two years my parents would stop in San Saba Texas and buy About 200 pounds of pecans in the shell at Christmas time.
Two big burlap sacks full.
Probably got a deal on them because everyone knew each other for many years
We would sit around the living room and shell pecans and put them in the freezer.
My dad grew up in the area and even grafted pecan trees.
I always had a bag of pecans in my bedroom along with dried peaches and apples we grew and dried ourselves.
I ate fruits and nuts for snacks.
My sister ate candy and drank sodas.
Guess who is in better health.

Beef has gone over the top.
Pork belly 5 something a pound.
It has gone up 30%.
Gallon of milk 6 something.
If I could find a white oak covered in good acorns I would gather them.
What would you do with the acorns?

Here, I have a grove of black walnuts all to myself. I don't pick them up every year, like his year. Maybe next year. Husking them is a messy process, as it's either wearing gloves or having dark stained hands for about a month. And shelling them, don't get me started...

The aroma and flavor of fresh shelled black walnuts is worth it.

There are also some butternut trees around, but most are dying off.

@Tormato
Thought about proceeding the acorns to eat.
Probably won't happen.
Some white oak trees don't have much tannin at all.
Red oaks have a lot.
Used to pick black walnuts in Missouri.

It's a lot of work to process acorns into flour.
