Tropical hibiscus, Starry Wind. This is a compact hibiscus and a tender perennial.

That's a wowsa color! When is your last frost down there? I take it that this hibiscus is "portable" just in case. :D

Yes, the 🌺 is portable. Last frost date is a crapshoot. Some years there is no frost. If the temperature gets too low I just move the pot indoors.

Home Depot claims to select plants that are good for your area.
That thing is a water hog. :lol:
Couldn't keep enough water on it planted in ground.
Lord Baltimore is a wonderful hibiscus.
Huge red flowers.
Size of dinner plates.
Worth
25 miles southeast of Waterloo Texas.
