Do any pollinators like the flowers?

Yes, the bees really like it and I did see a White Cabbage Butterfly on it too.

Pollinators really liked our ornamental Alliums earlier this year, too, as well as the flowers for the bunching onions (Allium fistulosum). Our ornamentals were probably a different kind than yours, but I'm not sure.

Any allium I have ever grown has been an attractor of bees. The elephant garlic flowers are a favourite of hummingbirds as well as bees.

My Alliums are starting to flower. Through years I have planted different kinds of hybrid alliums and I think that they have also multiplied from seeds. I have lilies and cranesbills in the same flower bench, so that those will cover the area when allium leaves are withering.

These ones are the non-hybrid Allium giganteums. The flower heads are a bit smaller and denser than in the hybrids and the flower stalks are taller and thicker. The bulbs of these supposed to be edible, but I grow them only as ornamental.

Bees really love the Allium flowers. I noticed many wild bees on them today.

The allium are just finishing now. They have multiplied beautifully.
