It smells like fruit loops. I guess you have to have a lot of pollen to notice this.

Nope no picture. When you reply use the 'Full Editor and Preview' button. Then go to the left and use the attachments option. From there you can drag & drop or upload your photo from your computer. I think that you missed the attachment option.

This is called Picotee. I bought it at a big-box store for Christmas 2018. It was mislabeled as a red variety and I was pleasantly surprised it turned out to be something else.

Picotee is charming to say the least. A dainty beauty she is. Smaller than most but so very elegant. Superb!

The last of the amaryllis for this spring. A rosy red one that I can't recall the name of.

I was noticing driving through the neighborhood the other day (cat to vet) that between the amaryllis, star jasmine, oleanders, etc. it’s really nice right now. After a month looking at mostly my own backyard you forget!

How much light do they want outside? I was astonished yesterday to see an Amarylis I wintered over in the garage has a bud. I had one grow into several at the base of the house foundation staying outside all winter but it never bloomed.

Good for you! They need full sun to bright filtered light. They are heavy feeders, so do fertilize them a few times during the growing season if you are wanting them to bloom for you the following year.

This is in the amaryllis family. Today I saw it blooming unexpectedly. I have some of these planted around the tiny pond but they haven't bloomed in a couple of years. Very fragrant.

This is 'Magical Touch'. A new one for me this year. The blossoms are very large and I love the white picotee edge.
