Do you think you have seeds left from your original blunt ones that would continue to produce them? It would be a shame for you to lose the variety you discovered!
I sent a friend some seeds from the blunt ones, and she is sending a few back to me.I will grow them hoping to get the blunt shape back.

Sounds good. But whatever we all have in the more pointed heart version they are beautiful and my most prolific so far. If the flavor is also great this will be a winner for sure!

I found them to be incredibly productive, and very tasty too. I'm thinking maybe not a cross, but instead, a segregant. I don't think it was entirely stable. About 2 years ago, a lithium sunset type, bicolored rather than red fleshed showed up. I hope the taste is as good as it has been for me.

Marsha here is what I got for Red Lithium from the seeds from your last offer (1/2020?)
They all had this oblate shape-no hearts.

Happy to send you seeds back if you need some.

These look great! I think another friend is sending some, but I will keep these in mind. Thanks for your kindness.

Early in this thread I mentioned I was growing 2 RL plants this year. One was giving me hearts like they had last year and the second was more solid colored large beefsteaks. I believe these are still from seed that I have from Ginger2778 in her 2020 offer. Here is what the second, non-heart one looks like.

Anyone else get one's like these? I don't think they looks like Marsha's photos since there is no stripes.

In addition to these, I had saved seeds from the heart shape version I grew from the seeds last year and shared those with a few other people and they are all getting the hearts, so it seems the heart version is stable, or close. But I'd love to try the "true" one as well. Any of these versions have been very productive and tasty, just different.

The 2 on their sides are Red Lithium. Pretty good producer, it was a crazy year and Red Lithium and Stump of the World are the only ones really setting fruit. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Those look perfect, correct shape and size and color. I hope you have more successes. Save seeds, those are the real deal.☺

They're still a little heart-y from a different angle, but I agree that these look more right. I'm eating this today with my lunch. πŸ…

So, I haven't saved seeds from these tomatoes, because, well, they're aren't any πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ.

This is probably the 4th or 5th tomato from the plants that are giving me the correct fruit shape, but each tomato has a few tiny seeds (one is circled), and that's it. This is a small tomato on a small plate, they're truly very tiny seeds. If I loved the tomato, I'd try and save them, but I don't. Very possibly it's my crazy weather or dirt, or that these plants are essentially growing in the shade.

Dawn, they still might be a segregant of a cross. I have some I know are correct, and will be growing it out, I will offer seeds from those early in the year.
