I took cuttings from a sweet pepper plant today to see if I can clone it.
Juicy fox farms potting soil mix in a container with no drainage,on a warming mat.

3 out of 4 cuttings lasted until 1 month ago.
Pepper clones take longer to put out roots, for me anyway.
1 plant is indoors under lights.
I will use it as a houseplant.

Pepper plants last for years bringing them in and out of the house.

Good for you getting pepper clones to root. I have never been successful cloning pepper plants.

comes in handy when you only have a few plants,as long as you have the time for both rooting and growing.

Is the issue that the pepper plant stem is woody so it's hard to get it to produce roots?
