White Hungarian pepper?
I got White Hungarian pepper seeds in a swap elsewhere, and I can't find info on it except as fresh peppers. Does anyone know what these might turn out to be? I'm assuming a sweet pepper.

Probably a cream colored when not ripe, indeed usually picked unripe for salads or all sorts of stir frying. Most probably not hot, the shape will either be like a bell or more pointed (the pointed one seems more popular in Hungary, the bell is more popular to the east). There's hundreds of such varieties and hybrids in Hungary, will most likely be good.

Look up Feher Ozon Paprika (fehér özön)! That's the one I grow all the time. It's cream colored when not ripe. Mild flavor at this stage. They will turn orange/red if left to ripen and these are sweet. I pick them in the cream/yellow stage and use them exclusively to make lecsó. Yum.
Your variety could be similar to this one. The name even has white in it. Fehér = white

I'm also growing Feher Ozon, so I will be able to compare them!

I got different peppers on my two plants! And they are spicy/hot, not sweet.

I've grown Feher Ozon at least twice. It's a great pepper. Prolific. No heat. Very mild taste. It's similar in size and shape to Lipstick, but more prolific and a milder taste than Lipstick.

If fully ripened & dehydrated, Feher Ozon makes a dark, sweet paprika. Alma Paprika, while shaped differently, is very similar. Both ripen cream-to-orange-to-red, are thick walled, and bear heavily on surprisingly compact plants. Pelso is very similar to Feher Ozon, but packs a little heat.
