(Corno di Toro (long pepper)
Finally ripened to red. Deliciously sweet. Cut one in strips and dipped in Traders Joes Spicy Asian Peanut Dressing which makes a great dip.
Crunchy flesh, 7 “ long.
So preferred these to the Shishito that have very little flesh.)

Your gardens are gorgeous and your harvest amazing. I can only hope to see half of that this year.

Sorry I don’t. Originally bought the clump to break apart and attach to trees. We had no idea what they looked like as they weren’t blooming but the orchid nursery said they would be good in trees. We got others as well but we ended up just letting this one stay intact. Had it a long time and it never bloomed and then suddenly this. I normally kill orchids if I read and follow how to take care of them so I just let them go. I will trim off a bad looking leaf if I notice one.

It's a cattleya or one of many inter-specie hybrids. No burn on those leaves. Looks like it's getting just the right amount of sun.
I would guess any high light required orchid would do well for you. Cymbidium, dendrobium, vanda, oncidium etc.
Love your pictures. Keep at it.
