This was timely for me as well since I was getting ready to ask about all the “floppiness” I am experiencing! Finding it is normal relieves me greatly. At times I was sure Midnight Sun was on its last legs with floppiness bordering on wilting. The wilting level has improved and despite all it has set some tomatoes. Taiga is number two on extreme wispiness. Tundra is doing well despite having to restart it when it’s stem was damaged and I had to cut the top and replant. It has developed a strong root system. karma Miracle took weeks to germinate but is setting very well! It has really caught up! Looking even more forward to Karma Apricot after reading results here! Because of space my gardening buddy is growing Karma Peach and we are planning a tasting session for comparison.
Now if the encroaching diseases don’t actually take out the plants should be a bountiful season. Will be getting some copper fungicide tomorrow for the first time ever. Have been removing infected leaves like crazy from the bottom of many varieties. Crazy weather this year - now very hot and humid.
Grateful to all the efforts being made to develop tasty new varieties, especially hearts!

My KARMA Miracles should be coming soon. I saw first blush this weekend.

KARMA Apricots appear to have an almost plum shape to them. I will get some pictures when I am home this afternoon. They are usually the last I tend to when I do my rounds, and I keep missing the light.

(edited because I reversed what I was talking about. Then I checked my tags!)

Was it a little tart? My first few usually are, then the taste gets crazy good in about a month.

Picture Time.

Here are my Karma Miracles, harvested yesterday - and the rest of the plant. Lots of fruit coming! (And a big hornworm found last night - not pictured)

OMG, I came home from work hungry and ate the Karma Miracle. Absolutely delicious. Hands down my favorite cherry of all time.

So happy the plant is loaded up with fruit, and that I cloned it a month ago! I will transplant the clone into a grow bag this weekend.

Come to think of it, it was a little tart. I enjoyed it though, nice, rich flavor. I'm looking forward to seeing how it matures as the season goes on.
