Okay Tomato Friends,
What's your opinion? Tomato Tone or Texas Tomato Food?
Discuss.

I personally would go with plant tone and Texas tomato food both.
The former is for the long haul and wont show any real effect immediately.
The TTF will.
Reason for the garden tone over tomato tone is more nitrogen.
Plant tone 5-3-3 as opposed to 3-4-6 on the tomato tone.
With an over abundance of the latter two numbers you will end up with too much of it and not enough nitrogen.
Never used TTF before because there is no local place to buy it I can find.

Just my opinion.

Well, I don't know what I'm talking about, but I discovered Espoma is a NJ company...so out of some local loyalty I decided I was going Espoma this year...going to start with Bio-tone Starter Plus, and follow up with Tomato-tone...FWIW.

I agree. I have also used TT at plant out and then used TTF as a supplement feed throughout the season with very good results.
