How's your weather?

Mine is lousy here in the KC area. It started snowing about 7:00 am and after an hour there's about 1/2" already. We're supposed to get 5"-7" total by Monday morning when the storms moves further east.

We're heading to a Chiefs game watch party in a few hours. Luckily it is only a few miles away. I'm taking some wings...I was going to cook them on the grill but had to switch to the air fryer with the snow covering the grill already.

My favorite subject! :)
We just had two days of midwinter cold weather and snow, after a storm of rain blowing from South - today it is rain again and gusty southerly winds. Temperature right now is 12.0 C and that breaks the local record for this day of the year. Normal high would be 2 C. There's a fog rising from the snow on the garden. Slush turning into puddles in the driveway.

We are above freezing here and it look like rain every day this coming week. If it didn't rain I wouldn't know where I was!

I made it home from the Chiefs watch party. I think the weather guessers guessed wrong on this one. 6 inches on the ground so far and it's still coming down pretty hard.

ddsack - that's cold even for northern MN in mid December. I was raised in MN and still have siblings that live up there. I only visit in the summer now for obvious reasons. At least the lakes will be frozen over for ice fishing! Catch a couple Walleye for me!

Lonejack I think I'll just take a package of fish from my freezer! Too cold to stand outside! Summers are delightful, however.

Just can't imagine how cold that is, Dee!! Yikes.
We actually went to 14 C on Sunday (nearly 60 F)! but right back to the chiller today, in the 20's F all day, with windchills 10 F, Westerlies gusting 50 mph, and snow squalls.
We had nothing but rain until a week ago, so the windchills Saturday which dipped below 0 F felt pretty extreme. That's close to as cold as it ever gets here. It just doesn't get very warm ever either.

Snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain all possible for much of Tuesday. It's a good day to attempt to find out what seeds I have.

Had 4" of snow on the ground this morning and temps tomorrow morning are forecast as 0˚F. Alamosa, Colorado in the San Luis valley is looking at -16˚F. And as cold as its getting now, forecasts are for mid 60's by the weekend.
