In the spring with excess rainwater,I filled milk gallon jugs with rainwater and put them next to the plants to help keep warm during cool nights.
I left the containers in place just in case of drought later in the season.
I am sure they are helping out now that we have been having nights in the low 50's F
No sign of rain this week,so I may have to start using them if my main rain barrels go dry.
My 12v rainwater pump pooped out,I mated the motor to a pump normally hooked to a power drill using 5/16 gas hose and clamps.
The drill type pumps are cheap,I may get others as spares.
