Re: Nannon’s patch
The dwarf tomatoes have started producing. Unfortunately the mix of caterpillars, caterpillar holes and rain for the last week has meant a lot of loss. I can’t spray or dust for them either at the moment, and they are too sneaky to simply squish them all. I’ve still managed to pick some though
Thanks to the rain , the Swiss chard is still going well and hasn’t succumbed to the heat And there are still plenty of enormous spring onions... oh and the cucumbers are starting to produce as well.

Re: Nannon’s patch
Due to almost constant rain, not a lot has been happening in the patch. Thankfully I’ve been able to harvest some tomatoes. I’ve picked a handful of the dwarf varieties: a bunch of Kangaroo Paw Greens, about 6 Summertime Golds, 3 Boronias, 1 Sweet Scarlet, and one small Blazing Beauty
The Kangaroo Paw Greens are delightfully green inside, and very tasty Dwarf Blazing Beauty is so vibrantly coloured, and very sweet. It might be my second favourite of the year after the Big Brandys Causing more problems with the tomatoes than the rain are the thieving cockatoos! The rude buggers have been enjoying shredding all my green tomatoes. I’ve attempted to cover them a bit to protect them, but cockatoos are very destructive and if they want the tomatoes they will find a way to get to the tomatoes
I snapped a pic of a bunch of them eating pine nuts on a pencil type pine tree at the front of the house

Nannon! Nice photos, beautiful crops.
Refrain from calculating the total number of poultry...before the process of incubation has fully materialized.
