Photo just doesn’t do justice. Taste Patio - one of Fred’s tomatoes.

My bad for not quickly writing it down yesterday, but I’m pretty sure this is Absinthe.

The bush beans are getting a bit overrun by the nasturtiums. C’lest le vie.

From the look of your tomato list, the only variety we're both growing is KBX and that's a first timer for me. :D

Now you've gone and done it. That photo of Brad's tomatoes is making me antsy to see the Atomic Grape I've got going. Alas, it will be a good while before I see the results.

That Taste Patio is so pretty!

GoDawgs, thank you! I am so looking forward to that KBX. Lol, now that I’m working from home I patrol the garden 3 times a day watching for any signs of trouble.
KBX is actually a first timer for me as well. I’ve always grown Kellogg’s Breakfast, which is to die for taste-wise but a bit stingy with production, in my conditions anyway.

I thought about Atomic Grape but decided I wanted a slightly bigger salad tomato. Last year I grew Matt’s Wild Cherry for salads but harvesting drove me crazy.

PlainJane, I love your posts, they are beautiful photos, I am also growing kelloggs breakfast for the second year, last year I loved it and although it is not very productive for me it is also worth growing them, they are very disease resistant plants, tomatoes of amazing beauty for its delicious color and flavor

I decided she will ripen safely in the house. First KBX.

Nico, if you love Kellogg's Breakfast, you must try KBX. It produces so much more, and has even better disease resistance. Just as delicious. I sill never be without it it's my favorite tomato for BLTs. If you need seeds let me know. For anyone, same offer, just pm me.

Hi Marsha, thanks so much for the suggestion, but I thought KBX was the same as Kellogg's breakfast

What do the words "KBX" AND "BLT" mean?

Thats a delicious tomato, I haven't grown it in 4 years. Might need to revisit it now that I see yours. I also see the doggone cat facing that a lot of mine also got. 😣This variety is prone to it, but the taste is worth it.

Good question! KBX is Kellogg's Breakfast potato leafed, and its better! BLT = bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich.

Ginger2778 , Daniel Burson is SO yummy. The first ripe one is really beautiful; a polished deep mahogany red and very heavy for the size.
This has been such an incredible spring growing season the plant has twice as many fruits as last year.

Daniel Burson is a very nice tomato. I grow it every year. It tastes great and is a good producer. I can always rely on this one.
