I understand that.
thankfully 30 years ago my husband came home with a haircut that I said... "you paid for that?" I went and bought a set of clippers and have cut his hair ever since.
maybe someone close to you could help you out? got any neighbors who you would trust to help you out? or stop at walmart and get your self a set and clip away... do your best. maybe one of the men you even work with... can you exchange the service and just live with the results...

My husband looks like he slept under a bridge. I told him to get a haircut before the salons closed (we all knew that was coming) and he didn't.
And since you really can't go anywhere he doesn't shave regularly. He seriously looks like a bum but he doesn't care, LOL.

I look like a bum half the time it never stopped people from being nice to me.
Used to drive my wife nuts.
Then other times she would be dressed normal to go grocery shopping and I would dress up.
I honestly never gave my hair much thought.
It's been baby fine all my life and impossible to do anything with.
