Came across this post today. I have often read about how devastatingly awful it can be to have a groundhog visit your garden. Here's someone who has a very soft heart. Sweet story. Happy ending.

Groundhogs are cute! That one looks a lot happier than the ones that had to deliver a forecast today!

Oh my gosh, I love this. Love that gardener too. Chunk was like a Disney character. So glad he gets his own garden.
I knew nothing about groundhogs. They sure love their fresh vegetables. If someone did want to deter them I wonder if one of those motion detector scarecrow sprinklers that blast them with water would work?
