Unlike the stuff you get in the store this is easy and you can make it to your liking too.
Not only that it seems like every time you get potato chips Frito's or some other snack food of the sorts if you go away from regular they seem to have a thousand ingredients.
Many of which evade pronouncing.
Not this one.
Take a bag of regular Frito's empty the product in a bowl and place it in a preheated oven of around 250F or so.
Once it is heated up bring out and sprinkle your favorite ingredients in the Frito's.
Mix thoroughly and toss around.
Put back in oven for maybe 5 minutes with the burner off.
Be careful not to over toast them but a little is ok because it will give the Frito's a nice toasty flavor.
I used New Mexico red chilie powder garlic powder and Chipotle powder in these.
Getting the Frito's hot brings to oil bak out and allows the powders and or spices to stick.
There are a thousand things you can add.
Let your imagination and taste buds send you on a journey of undiscovered flavor.
