Came across this and it just about tore me up. Chris Isaak's "I Wonder"

Together, trees make an ecosystem that tempers the extremes of heat & cold, stores lots of water, & makes a lot of humidity. In this environment, trees can live to be very old. To get to this point, the community must remain intact no matter what.

Had never heard that ... there’s so much music out there we don’t know. I find that inspiring.

After watching the first episode of "Zoey'sExtraordinary Playlist", the song below got into my head as well...
It's not what you gather, but what you scatter, that tells what kind of life you have lived.

I wasn't born there but I spent 6 years of my life there and a card carrying member of the Choctaw Nation called me the Goat Roping Hippie.'Nothing could have described me better.
I worked cattle drove a truck and listened to just about anything from rock and roll to this.
I present to you Hank Thomson.

Talent on Loan from God!!

He's got to be one of the best guitar players alive today that the world doesn't know about. It's the longest version of Train, Train I've ever heard and also one of the best.

One to match Gary Moore's tune above though I don't think of Jeff Beck as being a blues player.

Once in a while I look up a MOODY BLUES video, but
I've gotten to the point where I like quiet, in fact need it. Don't want to feel moved, energized or sad from a song, at least for a time .
Listening to the dog snore and dream woof is music to my ears .
The birds singing again after the long winter is such a welcome sound - as long as they don't feast on my Camp Joy tomatoes in summer.

I feel the same too.
Peace and quiet without all the noise.

I got to see the Moody Blues back in the 80s in Austin.
Seems like a lifetime ago now and it was.

We felt as young as the music didn't we Worth.
Moody Blues gave a concert at the Gorge in Washington state twenty, maybe twenty five years ago. The grape vineyard scented the summer night , and after the concert there was a fantastic Pink Floyd laser light show .
Yeah, a lifetime ago. Someone should write a song with those lyrics - maybe already has. I want to remember, but everything is so different now, I want to forget.
It's comforting to stroke Amara's snoring muzzle.
