Has anyone here grown Chocolate Sprinkles F1? It has amazing reviews on other sites, such as the following:

Anyway, it sounds like the flavor and production are supposed to be superb, but I wouldn't expect a super sweet tomato, despite the name. One reviewer compared it to bacon.

I've been thinking about growing it for a couple years or so. I probably won't this year, though, since my grow list is basically full to overflowing, and I don't have seeds anyway. But, I thought I'd open up some discussion.

It's a pretty good one. You are correct in that it's not super sweet but it is not bland at all. Good production. I'd grow it again.

I grew it this season. Somehow, it ended up sharing an Earthbox with Talvez and Talvez totally took over, which is so unusual with a cherry / small tomato. I think under other conditions, it would have been more productive; it was pretty and tasted good; skin was not noticable.

I may grow it next year just to give it a chance under different conditions.

I have grown it several times and I like it. It is not sweet-it has a nice taste and a thicker skin. My kids liked it because of its shape-closer to grape and its chocolate color. It looks great in a salad with other colors.
