But there it is in all it’s glory.
Thank you! I'm just over the moon!

How long did it take from seed to fruit on that passion flower?

I think about a year and a half, maybe 2. Douglas(gardenboy17) was giving out the seeds a while ago on Tville.

It's a beauty! I wish we were able to grow those exotic flowers here.

Update on the arbor and passiflora vines. The arbor is looking so nice, finally. And look at all the fruit forming. So far I've counted 9.

I have some Phaelenopsis orchids in bloom. The first and third are grown from a seed flask. I bought the second one.

Some tomatoes are still producing, and you can see mango trees with fruit and blooms in the background.

Thanks Linda. It's been a steady stream of zebra longwings and gulf frittilaries. Many GF caterpillars on it right now.
I grow it just for the gulf fritillaries. They keep it pretty well stripped once the weather warms up.
Your passion flower is beautiful, they always make me happy.

New cucumber plants, 3 days ago saw they were justvreeming with new pickleworm larvae. Hit em with BT, and that worked. Repeated to be sure. This is how we roll to get successful cucumbers here in S.FL.
Now I have to enclose them in tulle wrapping every night to keep those nocturnal pickleworm moths out. Grrrr!

It's kind of ridiculous. That's why most here say they don't have much luck with them. I'm a special kind of stubborn though.

That's a huge case of "You're not going to get MINE!"

Last year I started covering the cuke bed with row cover right after supper but I'd forget to remove it until about noon. Duh. Eventually I just gave up on covering and fortunately only lost about four cukes to the little bastiges. Who knows how bad or not they'll be this year so thanks to your inspiration I'm going to try to do a better job. ;)

Haha, glad I'm inspiring someone! I'm also really glad I only grew 3 plants!
