There was a storm lastnight and I didnt even think about it but my seeds are all scattered in the floor today and two varieties all mixed.

Starting again. @Tormato I promise seeds will be coming your way at some point.
You had them outside in that storm?

My above advise was for inside, in that whatever can spill them will spill them.

With only two varieties, you can easily grow them out again next year and likely figure out which is which, unless they are near identical tomatoes.

I once spilled a container with 16 vials of 16 different early determinate small round red varieties. There was no way to grow them out and figure them out. So, I tossed about 16,000 seeds.

Don't worry about sending tomato seeds for this year's swap. There's always been plenty to go around.

It also applies outside it seems! Silly me.

I put some to ferment last night so at least I can send something.

Grin I have discovered that small canning jars are a great way for me to save seeds. I can ferment in them, I do have to take them out to dry on a paper plate but once dry I can put back into the already labeled jar. Wry grin the half pint will even hold filled bags for the swap until I get information slips into them. And of course any extra seeds are still loose in the jar.
