February 9th is national pizza day. Be sure to have a little bite while you are watching the game.

Re: National Pizza Day
Unbeknownst to us, we'd been planning on...um...assembling four (4) pizzas later on; stay tuned!

Re: National Pizza Day
Those pizzas look good, @Cornelius_Gotchberg.
@all
Well, I didn't have some pizza on the 9th, but I had some a few hours before I saw this thread.
It was a frozen Great Value three cheese pizza with the following added on top, and baked at 450 for a half an hour (not pre-heated): extra cheddar cheese, a whole yellow onion (cut up with a food chopper), wonderberries, black pepper, and parsley.
When cooked at that temperature and length, the cheese gets too crispy if we put it on top. so, I put the onions on the cheese, and the wonderberries on the onions. That way only the onions get to dry out (the wonderberries don't dry out on top as long as they don't lie on the edge of the crust). It turned out well. I'm not saying you should always put the cheese on the bottom (it really depends on the situation what you want to do).

Re: National Pizza Day
Tasted good, as well; still working on 'em.
FWIW; one of 'em featured shredded chicken breast with Garlic Scape Pesto and Sauer Kraut, and another just chicken and Kraut-n-Kale.
You's might say "Kraut on a pizza?" C'mon, we're Gotchbergs, after all; and don't knock it 'til you's try it!
