2025 World Record Attempt
I have not done any serious attempts at the World Record Tomato in years. This year, 2025, is the first in a while. Here are my [World Record Attempt] seed stock strains: not necessarily in order:
1)Boudyo - 5lbs. 6.83 lbs Ist
2) Brutus Magnum (from Marv Meisner) from a 6.25 fruit 2012
3) Gildo Pietroboni (4lb fruit) 2011
4) Weston 3.99 Lyons 4.2 x open 2013
5) Istra 4 lbs. from Slovenia (Iva) 2011
6) Peter Glazebrook Special 5 lbs + (From England who got them from Peter]
7) Hunt [BIG] 2013, 5 lbs +
8) Mega Marv 5.51 lbs. 5 lbs +
9) Lyons 5.20 2014
10) Big Zac [original seed from Minnie to my friend, to me]
11) Diaz 4 lbs. + 2012
12) Graham [from the World Record line] 7 lbs 12 ozs Anonymous Source [secret]
13 Nick Harp's Special 4 lbs +
14) Delicious 6.5 lbs
15) Daho 5 lbs +
16) Brutus Magnum Yellow (Meisner 6.25)
17) Epstein's Big Zac PL
18) Harp x Self
19) Lorson 4.78 lbs
Yes, I got some of my seed stock from auctions at BigPumpkins. For the entry-level person it's a good idea to pass on bidding for the REALLY Big Stuff, but go for the same lines with a bit smaller fruit. Say a 5 lb plus fruit for way less money than an 8 lb fruit. But you still get the same line with the same qualities.
Even if you get small fruit you should still save the seed because the qualities that you want are still in the line. Fused blossoms are the key. Frankenstein-fused blossoms are what you want.

And then there is always my Giant Tomato Seed Offer where you can get competition seeds for a SASE with a promise to send seeds back to me to share with others. Many of my seeds came from Giant Pumpkin auctions. I have not updated the list for this year yet.

@Terry Oops, your post didn't show up here because you pushed that little exclamation mark in the upper right hand corner of my post. Your post was then sent to the admin because you wrote it in response to your complaint about my post. LOL
Gotta be careful what bells and whistles you push around here.
