How very interesting. The micro-dwarfs in my micro x indeterminate project seem to also display this symmetric stem growth(sometimes splitting into 3 different stems near the base of the cotyledons.). I wonder what kind of weird genetic interactions caused this symmetrical growth pattern or if it's caused by some uneven apical dominance.
Yeah, I thought it was a cool trait. Unfortunately it was lost at some later point in the growth timeline. I suspect it has something to do with dwarf genes, since I've only ever heard about this with dwarf / micro plants.
