This Texas Rose-Bellied Lizard was on a pepper plant when I first saw him. He’s always welcome in my garden. Interestingly, this is outside, a little north, of their known range, but I’ve seen several around the yard.

I love that plant and my birds do too, if I put it in a window box or a hanging basket. It gets no use if it's in the ground. It's such a happy little plant. Oh and watch out the Japanese Beetles also love it.

It is a bit floppy, but I like it. Our hummingbird does too!

I have never seen this... a caladium sending up a bloom stalk.

You could eat it, but there's hardly anything to munch on. My hummingbirds and large bees love the blooms also.

The guy down the street I used to live on had a beautiful 12’ pomegranate tree in his front yard. It produced large, red pomegranates in season that I think were mostly left to rot. Had it been about any other neighbor on the street I would have gone and begged for some before they rotted. They are pretty little shrubby trees with those bold flowers. Pomegranate seem to do pretty well here. Thanks for the photos.

A very loud bullfrog has taken up residence in the pond. The pond will soon be filled with tadpoles. This happens every year. The plants in the grow bags change with the seasons.
