Today I was able to photograph these guys. Two different hornets and 3 types of butterflies showed up too, camera shy.

I like them too. Especially when they wear Hasselhoff Knight Rider sunglasses.

Bumblebee Watch has a place you can submit photos and try to key out your bee - the key is very cool and fun to do, but you realize that you really need several pics to get important features - including the face!! And the Knight Riders. 8-)

I've got plenty of pics, I'll give it a whirl. Thanks for the info.
Happy to see a few species interacting and working the flowers

Mmmm, forgot to mention your flowers are also GORGEOUS. No wonder the bees are happy. And your pics are superb. :)

Lemons are happy. Still lots of growth to be had. Tossed a generous amount of Yara triple 15.

7 grow bags on tubes with young cukes, protected from my dogs, as young cukes and young corn are their favorite.

3 more grow bags will be sowed in 2 weeks.

Had to bury the matriarch of my Guinea pig colony. 4 great years. Bottom rock is hers, top one is the patriarch (in ground about 5 months ago). 3 males and 1 female left.

These are from the 2nd garden.

There were quite a few Green Tigers as well, they never seem to make it out.

My saved Koroleva seed appear to be a F1 with an unknown black.

The first of the Elgin Pink x Anna Maria's Heart fruit are appearing. Saved seed will be F4. Hopefully I can get to F6 by Thanksgiving/Xmas.

I'm encouraged by a few of them , especially one plant that has practically no suckers, somewhat wispy and is TSWV strong. Placed as a forlorn hope, some have endured the combination of TSWV and benign neglect.

Another plant is generous with suckers and inflorescences as well, has set a lot of fruit, large pretty hearts. TSWV strong too.

The others are their usual selves, Mt Magic (great saladette) especially generous this year.

Waiting a few more days to deseed and BLT these two. I hope they have minimal seed like their parents, and taste just as good.
The one on the left was in the previous post.
Alpha 2 plant, in the face of adverse conditions, had over a dozen tomatoes growing on it. So I really hope the flavor is there.
