Nan, nice to see that Spring has come early for you. It won't be long until she is there in her full glory.

An Apeldoorn opened up this morning in the tulip grow bag.

Last fall I bought a bag of 60 bulbs and I ended up planting them anywhere, even hanging baskets.

Another beauty of yours that I had to look up.

A native a China. Hardy in zones 9-10 so it's not for me. It's fragrant! Blooms once a year in late winter to early spring. 5-6' tall.

It's just lovely, thanks for sharing it with us.

The Walking Iris is starting to bloom around the tiny pond. Very exotic looking.

Mine do that too when I take the picture holding my phone vertically. Try taking the pic holding your phone horizontally and see if it works.

If I take a picture vertically and it ends up being posted sideways, all I do is crop the original picture some (from the top/bottom) and repost it.

BTW, I am a huge fan of bearded iris.

Daffs are so cheerful and let you know which season you're in. The lawn looks lushly green too. A wonderful time of year. I love the smell of the unfurling young leaves of the trees when I go for a walk.

My dollar store daffs are blooming now. Too windy to get a group pic today, but I caught this still moment, buddy on board. :)
