Doffer.. No idea--totally ignorant about Sungreen. Should have kept my mouth shut, because I have no knowledge--

BUT I will say---You did peak enough interest for me to google around looking. By the pictures, I don't think I could ever tell if they were ripe. LOL.
Much of my cherry tomato harvesting has to do with picking them just before it rains, because they all crack. Just some more than others. I'd say the difficulty on doing that with Sungreen would take a higher skill level.

I've grown the Improved ones (Sold by Osborne, SeedsnSuch) in the '19-20 season. Tons of tomatoes, most everyone loved them. I had a hard time telling if they were ripe.

For the '20-21 season, I bought the 4029 seeds (Sold by Johnnys and Parkseed) which had fewer DTM and was suppose to be easier to tell when ripe. I still had a problem telling if they were ripe or not.

I only planted one of the 4029 plants; it shared an Earthbox with Sun Garnet. The plants were huge; long outgrown their cage extenders and being topped months ago. Earlier this week, I decided to cut the Sun Green down even though it was super woven with Sun Garnet.

My first year growing, I grew it in a Fabric Bag and waited until one tomato was over-ripe and picked then. If waiting until a yellowing color, they are overripe.

I am a huge fan of Tokita tomatoes and it would have helped it I could have walked around the Earthbox, but it was a tangled mess with other plants. I have tons of wind much of the time.
