Strawberry location
Hello, Do we have here a place to discuss strawberries? I decided to try to grow it in pots and could not figure out where can I ask how to start?

Barmaley Fruits/Berries/Currants would be a likely place to start...

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter, that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Yes, they can be grown in pots. The disadvantage is that pots dry out easily and will require more frequent watering.

Re: Strawberry location
Strawberries grow really well in pots but here in the UK they get attacked by vine weevils in any container. The larvae eat the roots and in the autumn/winter the plants die. Now I grow them in a raised bed since vine weevils are less of an issue in soil.
