I gave up on wax beans long long ago. They just don't have any flavor to me. I grow Fortex which I get from Johnny's and some variety flat Italian's. So far this year, everyone is sold out of Fortex, so Gardenboy can make some extra money if he wants to. He is the only source on the planet right now!!!

I’m also growing Tamara, a Romano type. Those are just starting to flower, but I put them in a little later than the others.

Rolande, a bush filet, Emerite, Carminat, Tamara, these are what I have out in the garden. The other bush variety, some baby filet, can’t think of the name, didn’t germinate.

Should have a surplus of beans here for a while.

Picking every day now, increased an ounce or two over yesterday. Going to have to start blanching and freezing them

That’s a really nice haul!
