Tormato I'm afraid I haven't got one of those. I have a friend who might, it's a bit of a long shot...nudge, nudge

Re: AmateurInAwe's Garden
Spotted some blight on stems and needed to take action. Some were extra stems so chopped - no problem. But had to remove 2 plants, luckily had some substitutions at hand which are now in place - they won't get as tall as the season marches on, hopefully get something.
The F2 seeds have all germinated so the race is on to get them flowering. These are my first run through of breeding so it is a nice and simple one, and gives me an idea on the art of the possible, logistically speaking with limited space.
Other new crosses have already been started and waiting for confirmation of germination. The temptation is to do loads but I will have to hold back or be overwelmed. It sure is good fun tho.
MSITK is fruiting nicely as is SOTW and my lonely marzano fire, which has really grown large, is soon to be joined with others. Lots of others fruiting so just hope Weather is kind.
Weather still a bit drizzly and far from ideal but mid week looks a promising turn.

Aggie is giving her Punxsutawney Phil view of the weather forecast. Whippets don't like rain, and the forecast looks iffy...

Aggie confused me for a minute. I thought her ears were her front legs and she was doing a yoga pose.

rossomendblot I can understand that...perhaps if i hadn't done a "From Behind" shot and done a frontal shot it might have been more recognisable....

Re: AmateurInAwe's Garden
The F2 cross have sprouted and now the race is on to grow and get at least one truss of fruit in the greenhouse.
Four plants have been selected for protected breeding in the greenhouse.
There are others outside too and I know I will do more.

Re: AmateurInAwe's Garden
I have to wait till Saturday before I can tackle this in earnest. I have been using my electric toothbrush dilligently, and taking any leaves which show any signs of blight but I must do a deep defoliage at the weekend. Weather is looking good, but humidity is high, currently 76 % tonight, did I forget to tell you my wife bought me a weatherstation
These caterpillars are from the cinnabar moth. Funilly enough I saw one a couple of weeks ago. They have become rarer as the weeds they love are on the "unwanted" and "destroy" list. However, the house next to me has a garden space that has been left to be wild with weeds.

I’m late to this thread. Can’t get over how early you get your asparagus. Outside the Boston area, I started harvesting mine the last week of April.Amateurinawe wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:57 am First shoots of asparagus coming through, they look tasty....

Carrot in a pipe
Some speckled Roman
Marzano fire
More f1 cross
And this venus is fully loaded
Finally removed lots of foliage and not a moment too soon, lots of early blight. All treated so hopefully this nice weather should hold it all back....
