Yeah me too, I saw them in Austin and some guy was tangled up under the folding chairs clawing at everyone.
The (((Machine))) was flying over him.
He was freaked out big time.

In 1988 I took leave from Rota Spain to meet my girlfriend in Paris, while visiting Versailles Palace I saw a big shipping box with Floydian Slip on it. After asking around they were setting up for a concert a few days later, we bought tickets and had a blast, this concert lasted about 4 hours well into the early morning hours. It had everything, the burning bed, flying pig, firework show and an awesome laser show.

Pink Floyd is one of the very few groups that traverses all generations.
I think I did well by picking it as my all time favorite band way back in the 70's.

I fell asleep in the truck one night with Diversion Bells Album on full blast at 1 AM after work..... my man used to play a lot of Floyd in bands in this area. I just keep him supplied with tomatoes while he produces new rock songs....heavily influenced....

Every time I listen to Time it reminds me of my friend's mom who was astounded in the middle of the day to hear loud clanging alarm clocks going off full blast in her home. It was coming from upstairs & she raced up the stairs, frightened out of her wits. She opened her son's bedroom door to find a roomful of young boys stoned amid a cloud of fragrant smoke .

This one is from A Momentary Lapse of Reason back in 87 after the split.
I have no animosity towards Gilmore or Rodgers both are great talents.
Besides I don't have a dog in the hunt anyway.
I read once, "Pink Floyd's music is some place in the future waiting for us to catch up" this is so true.

For those that saw Pink Floyd back in the day can probably relate to this story. It was 1971 or '72 and the usual crazies piled in the car and buzzed up to Chicago to see Floyd. The Auditorium Theater sat at Wabash and Congress in downtown. It was close to 100 years old at the time. The best sound of any theater I've ever been too. They shared the building with Roosevelt U. As was our custom we never bought tickets in advance. Showed up to find they were sold out. No such thing as scalpers in those days. We plotted our strategy and decided to try to get in through the University. We had a baseball bat and rope in the trunk. Tied the bat off and threw it up to pull the fire stairs down. I don't know how many people were on the stairs but remember looking down to see the police below yelling to come down. We hooked up with someone who knew the layout. We found an open window and headed to the 6th floor. We listened for music, found a balcony door, tapped lightly and were let in. Only a bunch of deranged Floyd fans would try something like this. Gilmore and Waters were in their heyday. What a concert.
