I had to keep logging in every visit until on the login page I just typed my name no password.
Takes you to a second page and I logged in the proper way,remember me ticked.
Site behaved after that.
I noticed to bookmarked logo for the site has changed.
I didn't want to clear firefox cache and cookies,so that is the easiest fix for the problem.
