The "Last Hurrah" From America's Dairyland
Some VERY healthy (for this time of year!) volunteers in the squarsh patch.
I don't know whether to pull them and put them out of their misery (and me out of my consuming guilt) or to let them thrive and enjoy life until the first frost takes them so slowly they won't notice.
And the "Last Hurrah" batch seems to be a deeper, richer red; the lengthening shadows to blame...?

The maters look fantastic.
Let the volunteers live life the best they can for as long as they can.
