Everything happening over here. Processing some cherries for sun drieds. My Sweet 100 hit like nine feet tall, a little annoying for harvesting but oh well. Still battling Septoria, but have some really nice fruit so no complaints.

Mark do you grow any papayas? They were my favorite fruits when I lived in Hawaii.
Those pineapples look great. I'll take 3 please.

Anything meaning any foods of course.

My mom grows a bunch of papayas on the bottom part of our property. My wife and I don’t really like them so we don’t grow any. Yeah the pineapples are coming along really well!

The pineapple is my first memory of exotic fruit. It was back in the early seventies and my nan had bought this prickly fruit. I'd only tasted the pineapple rings in syrup packaged in a tin. The height of luxury was to put a glace cherry on top. Lol.

The taste of fresh pineapple and the juices running down my chin is a memory I will never forget, and the memory of them always brings back the thought of my nan.

I cannot change history, so I do hope i gave you a good impression of myself

Wow everything is bursting with fruit. I think that I will pass on growing Sweet 100 because I am only 5' 1" tall. I would miss out on half of the crop.

Well most of the tomato plants from earlier in this thread are dead (see my thread on late season burnout), the few left are looking rough. Some rain and neglect and the Septoria really thrives. Some of my other plants are doing well though, just planted another round of corn, Thai Long Beans thriving, let one of my red Basils go to flower, and planted a new batch of tomatoes

Things sure did grow there this season. The tomatoes put those heavy duty cages through their paces.

Got a few straggler tomatoes still, and this is about how many Thai Long Beans I get daily. Planted a handful of beans and peas, sunflowers, wasabi radish (against my better judgement) the wildcard is always the rain, hopefully it stays moderate for a few more months

@Mark_Thompson Those green Thai long beans look much like the red Thai long beans I sent you the seeds for - still solid, when they get long, unlike other long beans I've grown, that hollowed out very early, and short. Will be anxious to try the two, to compare them. One thing that has just recently happened is that they started maturing too quickly - some hollowing out and getting seeds, when only 12" long, because it got cool at night. Most are still ok, but it's that time of year, and I won't complain about the cold!

@pepperhead212 Got a few of your red Thai beans going, birds ate one but still got two left. Hopefully they’re as happy as my green ones.
