Stumbled on this and wondered if anyone here has tried them.

Yes, been getting plants from them for several years. They also supply our local garden centers. I’ve been happy with them. The onion plants are non-uniform in size but I like that.

About a million people have if not more.
In my opinion they are at the very top of the line on onion sets.
Also useful information on the onion and it's peculiar habits on YouTube.

That’s where my feedstore gets their sets. Dixondale farm is first rate.

Thanks all. I always ask about folks experience if I haven’t used a particular vendor.

I splurged on the short-day sampler which I’ll share with a local gardening friend.
@GoDawgs, @karstopography, you pushed me over the onion edge lol.

I got that one from them last year and we were very pleased with it. In fact DH has requested I order it again.

For those that have ordered the short day onion plants from Dixondale before, do you keep the defaulted ship date? Mine comes up as 2nd week of January. I feel like it should be much sooner.

I grew Granex Yellow from seed last year, and had them planted out by November.

I try to plant mine around Thanksgiving or first week of December. Feed store gets theirs in from dixondale around then.
