More signs of Spring. Its already here , albeit a little early,
0127201329.jpg
and that means it's coming your way if you're in the lower zones. I ran out of room in the ground to plant my tulip bulbs, which in my area are treated as annuals, so I planted many in a very large grow bag. They are popping through the surface of the soil now.

Oh I'm as excited as you are to see those in bloom.

I did not get most of my spring bulbs in. My bulbs arrived in Oct. and we had snow with temps in the teens on Halloween. So the bulbs are still waiting for me to plant them. I did have one day in December where it warmed up some and I got some of them planted. We will see...

I added to our bulbs this past fall and I really can't remember what I bought. I'm really looking forward to the bulbs this year. Also a new hellebore.

I have dozens of these growing around the tiny pond. This is the first one to bloom so far this year.

I have those, too. They're tough & easy to grow.

They are lovely and I did not realize that they were so cold hardy.

Outside the Ice King daffs are blooming. They are fragrant and I need to bring a few into the kitchen to enjoy them. Although the wild daffs bloom first every year, these Ice Kings are the always the first to bloom of the ones I've planted.
