Atomic Sunset is not delicious
Pretty fruits, but they just have zero flavor. The eighteen month old that eats absolutely everything won’t even touch it. Everyone I’ve shared with agrees so this one will go on the do not grow list for me.

I grew it twice and also found it to be Ho-hum. Maglia Rosa is better.

It sounds like I'll never try it, as I find Maglia Rosa Ho-hum.
The vast number of cherries of any color, and red globes and beefsteaks, do not do well, tastewise, in my garden. Nearly everything else is fine as far as the strength of the flavor, although I may not like the flavor.

I have had similar experiences over the years with quite a few new to me varieties. I recall many years ago when the variety Florida 91 first came out and I purchased seed and grew out 4 plants in that years garden along with 10 other varieties. Long story short the Florida 91 produced nice looking uniform 10 oz. fruit that had the same zero flavor as your Atomic Sunset. And I had 4 plants !

That's why I almost always grow just one new variety - no need having a bunch of something I'd never want to grow again! Once in a while there's one I wish I had grown more of, but it's more often those I'm glad I hadn't.

Oh yeah, I’m not the brightest so I had five or six plants going. Luckily the Green Zebras I was trying for the first time turned out to be pretty good

Glad you liked the GZ! I used to grow them, and only stopped, due to them being disease prone, and also a little late. But they were often the top in the taste test, and when not, then second or third. Intense tomato flavor, with a lot of gel. Also somewhat heat resistant, compared to many.
One new one last season, that I only had one of, but wished I had more, was Oaxacan Jewel. More tomatoes from that than any other last year, and great flavor. But then, I forget how many I am glad I only grew one of!
