I grew Sunrise Bumblebee last season, for the second time; it had been quite a while since I grew it, but I liked the flavor the first time and I'm not sure why I didn't grow it again. It grew well in the heat - the second hottest summer on record - but the one thing I didn't like about it was picking it. Problem was I needed 2 hands to pick it, as the tomatoes were attached to the stems so tightly, I had to hold the stem and yank it off! Otherwise, it would often break the branch. It was a PITA to have to do this with every tomato.

This year I am growing Purple Bumblebees, which hopefully won't be the same.

I grew Sunrise Bumblebee last season and it was very tasty, but I didn't think it was as good as Blush or Prairie Fire.
