Stupid Amazon was supposed to have my seed baggies here Saturday. Nope then it was Monday then Tuesday... They assured me that they will be here by the end of the day today. It had better be... I have to go into the hospital next week and I want these mailed out before then. Pffft.

I WAS going to add some Large Barred Boar seeds to my list of seed being sent in... then my hand said nope not holding that small light cup and let it go. Goop, seeds and liquid all over the hardwood floor... looks at mess sobs quietly. Nope no LBB seeds from that batch lets go see if I have any still left in the ripening tomatoes box...
Good news is yes there were still a few LBB left. It turns out DH really liked them so I need seed for next year to raise a plant or two for him so may as well try for enough to send in for the swap or at least as a bonus variety but I had to start over and hope this batch makes it.

There are a few seeds that I have saved: Brandywine & Federle. Are these worth sending in? They came from some plants in Massachusetts and not from Carolyn's collection.

I also have a bunch of tomatoes that I bought from commercial growers. Are they worth sending?

Is there a list of tomato varieties that will be available? I don't have an interest in growing 50 varieties. I just care about a few varieties such as Brandywine, Estee Mortgage Lifter (want to try this) and maybe an early variety. Otherwise, I like to grow paste tomatoes like Pony Express, Jersey Giant.

The Spoiler thread is for those interested in knowing what is being sent in. NOT everyone is listing their seeds there but it can give you an idea what is available. There is also a thread where you can mention the ONE most desired tomato you want. From what I have seen all seeds are welcome both tomato and not tomato. If concerned about something you can always tag Tormato and ask. AND I am pretty sure he would have no problems with a wish list that said I only want x number of varieties, all paste please or something similar as there is a spoiler post that is nothing but paste/canning varieties...

There are plenty of Brandywine (Sudduth) seeds available in the swap. I prefer not to list Brandywine Pink / PInk Brandywine, as some of the commercial seed from years ago was not the real deal.

Federle is welcome, as it hasn't been in the swap for a few years.

Just looked up Federle, very cool! Please do include it.

Yes, but our host requests us to please use the 2x3" bags. They are much easier to work with on one's eyes and fingers.

I picked up my bags in the jewelry making department of Jo Anns. Most places that have supplies for jewelry making will have the clear plastic bags for jewelry to be put into... something to consider if Amazon is not your shopping place of choice.

No big deal. The dexterity has returned to Captain Hook's fingers.

The one type of zip baggie I don't recommend is the one that has a thin red line near the top. I've noticed that they can easily tear. It happens often with beans, not so much with tomato seeds.

As for me, I'm not about to write labels of "MIss Scarlet In The Kitchen With The Knife, 2020" that have to fit into a 1" X 1" baggie.

Walmart has them in their craft section as well. Sadly they will not deliver them even if you are ordering other things.

Walmart has them in their craft section, in your area. When the Orca docks at my 3 or 4 closest Walmart stores, their supply is quickly gone.

Like what I see so far and hope to get in on the MMM Swap. Will be going through to see what I have to contribute. Do seeds need to be 2020 or 2019 grow out?

Because we took last year off, this MMMM will be anything allowed as far as year of grow out. Next year, we'll try to return to (most) seed 3 years old or less.

Giggle I let the printer write small for me... it does such a good job and my hands don't ache afterwards.

Thank you for confirming. Going to sort through and will likely attempt a quick trial germination to confirm viability before making up a list of "haves"
