That looks killer. My oversized bacon is just due to a lack of knife skills. I can only get so thin then once I start getting to the irregular ends we’re settling for chunks.

Day 132 of 2025-21st Century Silver Jubilee Year Of The BLT!, 233 remain. Today's Monday Morning BLT Brunch participants are a nice sized Ribbed Reddy, and a Purple, compliments of Metro Market:
Backside (the Ribbed Reddy had a...um...blemish):
Sliced; is there anything quite like viscera of a properly (using the patented @Mark_Thompson Wedge Cut©™® method) carved Ribbed Tomato? :
And plated:
The Ribbed Reddy filled the kitchen with that unmistakably fresh Tomato Aroma, and despite the delightful taste of each being pretty much neck-n-neck, the nod goes to the Ribbed Reddy.

Day 140 of 2025-21st Century Silver Jubilee Year Of The BLT!, 225 remain. Monday Morning BLT Brunch was rescheduled due to family being in town. Today's participants are a nice Purple and Yeller from Metro Market

Sliced; just this side of Heaven when you's have these lookers winkin' at you's with mid 40sF/mid single digitC wind whipping much needed rain around outside.
Finito!
They tasted as good as they looked, close to a Photo-Finish in the Yumminess Department, but the nod goes to the Yeller.
