Yes it really is a couple of islands stuck there and not well known @Cornelius_Gotchberg.

My mind is like a sieve! I actually found out about this surprising French "outpost" a few weeks ago, and totally forgot about it. I put in a bunch of nonsense guesses to see the solve after my first two could not help me triangulate in a reasonable amount of time. Give me another month, and I will have forgotten about it again!

Oh, I'm not even going to start on this one! Looks like it would take a lot of non-productive zooming in and out. My patience has limits.

Had some time, so gave it a go. Didn't take as long as I had feared, but on my world map it looked nothing the silouette, the upper bits were not with the main part within a reasonable distance. I was shocked when I was right, was just expecting another pointer clue.
