Mine was mailed on Saturday. I used the self-serve kiosk and it told me Gary's address didn't exist (street & number). Hopefully the post office in MA knows what to do with it.

They know me well.

It's more than 1,000 packages received in the mailbox, and 1,000 packages hand delivered to the tellers, going out, over the years.

I can imagine..!

I would not like to be your postal office worker or mail(wo)man... :o :?

On the other hand.. You keep the postal services busy and running, and in this digital age of ours, you should get a medal for that.

I've been away for a while and want to know if it's too late to send in donation seeds- tomatoes, peppers, assorted veggies & flowers.

Mailed mine Sat & it's still in the local distribution hub. I could have sent it by carrier pigeon by now.

Time for another contest winner!

The previous contest was for a lurker to join tomatojunction, and win an all expenses paid trip to toil in your garden for the coming year, with more seeds than you could ever sow, and more decisions on what to sow than you could ever make.

This one is for members. The first one to PM me, gets it all for free. Do you want what's behind door #1?, door #2?, door #3?, or do you want this overstuffed bubble mailer in my hand? (they're all the same) ;)

Lets make that the third one to PM me. The first two were MMMM participants who like to pull my leg. :D

I still don't have a contest winner (post #152).

The contest may be buried too deep in this thread. I may have to create a MMMM Contest thread of it's own.

I'd love an overstuffed mailer!
I've love the dirt with weeds, too.
Door #1.

I'm assuming you don't want unbagged peppers, but I'll ask anyway. I have
Demre (hot)
Sugar Rush Peach (hot)
Slonovo Uvo (sweet)
Sunbright (sweet bell)
(I will mail everything out tomorrow!)

You may have already mailed, but yes I accept unbagged peppers. Most donations, over the years, were likely unbagged.

One tomato description in the swap...

"_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _, 2017, ind, RL, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ , 3 oz, saladette, (this tasted horrendous from my garden and a friend's garden, but reviews on _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ website were glowing - citrusy, zingy, ultra-sweet, except someone else in the _ _ _ who described it as rotten ham. :( I think it's environmental, maybe it requires _ _ _ _? (Please send these anywhere else!)"

Will do. ;)

"rotten ham"? Be still my heart. That's right up there with such accolades as rotten fish and sweaty horse.

Wonder what would be worse? I have Gapan Native which I did NOT send in for the swap. I'd describe that one as astringent to the point of toxic and that may be an understatement. On the bright side, it seemed immune to everything!

The benchmark appears to be Purple Calabash. I've heard it described as a spoiled rotten lime. And, I've had one request for it, by someone who said they MUST try it.
