How should I bag up seeds? What number of seeds per bag what labeling should each pack have? Sorry I'm new and want to do it right

You can start a wish list. You have an edit button, to make changes. Right up until the day that I send out a participant's package, I check the list one last time.

You can use what you have to bag up seeds. I like 2" X 3" clear plastic zip baggies, which can be found in the craft/bead section of WalMart, or other places, including online.

I like legible (not naming names ) writing with non-smudging ink on paper labels put inside of the baggies. If using something like coin envelopes, you'll have to write on the outside. Variety name and year of harvest as minimum info. 5 seeds minimum for tomatoes, 10 seeds minimum for peppers. Make sure all seeds are thoroughly dry before putting in baggies/envelopes.

This is fantastic! And quite an undertaking for the organizer! I would love to participate!

When they are thoroughly dry. Seeds start arriving in October, so we're almost there.

If participants have larger collections, and believe they may have varieties on participants wish lists, wait awhile.

And, for those that haven't yet posted wish lists (include Category wishes along with specific varieties), others shouldn't have to wait too long to send in their packages, likely without your unlisted wishes.
